BP has approved Henderson Technology’s EDGEPoS for its dealers in the UK and globally, and is encouraging its retailers to upgrade their legacy software to the EDGEPoS software solution.

Darren Nickels, head of Henderson Technology, said: “We are delighted that BP has endorsed EDGEPoS for its dealers who are looking to upgrade their software solutions.

“When systems are past their prime, it’s important that dealers look at a solution that offers them features and functionalities that can increase revenues. With high-speed internet connections now available to most sites, point of sale applications can provide an integrated system that allows dealers to perform real time functions to support their sales and operations.

“These features are all found in EDGEPoS software and can result in reduced costs and increased revenues for dealers.”

Henderson Technology recommends that dealers should look to upgrading their systems.

Nickels added: “Capabilities to implement new features that help increase sales and improve customer service are now possible when you upgrade your system to EDGEPoS. If not replaced, dealers are on a fast-track route to losing their way and, crucially, their customers – particularly as consumers are demanding much more sophisticated interactions with their favourite sites. Switching to our EPOS solution that supports modern unified commerce requirements is easier than you think.”

EDGEPoS is fully integrated with the BPme App, allowing retailers full visibility and reporting from a back office system. It is fully integrated with pumps to allow the customer to go into the BPme app, choose their pump number, amount of fuel they want, then fill up with fuel and go.
